"What the Horizon Only Tells to Us Ghosts"
Los Angeles, CA 2013
6,00 miles into 50 Models 50 States, probably more, I rolled into Los Angeles. The road, being away from home, is punctuated by moments that feel amazing sunsets, the wilderness, shoots where everything comes together, and moments of loneliness. Its a delicate balance, but without fail LA has pretty much always been one of the worst places for me. Normally I spend more time in traffic than I get to spend shooting, I run into quite a few cancellations, and scrambling to find locations is a nightmare
But it really only really takes one great shoot to pull me right out of that funk of home sickness, and this trip I was lucky enough to get to spend a little time shooting and hanging out with Sash. Sash is one of those people that have a calming presence, and when we hiked up to this beautiful oasis of nature everything really just came together. In between shots of Franco attempting to get into each photo with her, we managed to shoot what I think was one of my best sets on the entire trip. After a month of traveling through snow storms, hail, and the intense heat of the South West it was great to have something that went completely smoothly. Make sure you check out the entire set by clicking the link below, and subscribe to see everything Sash and I do in the future.
